USING RESIN AS FAUX ENAMEL
Date: Sunday, April 7, 1:00-4:00pm
Fee: $45 + $25 materials
No experience necessary.
Love color? Love to experiment? Using pendant form and wire, you'll create a simple design and bring it to life with colored resin. We'll color the resin with anything dry. That's the fun part! Kitchen spices, seeds, powdered eye shadow and paint, glitter, enamel powders, crushed glass, small beads, you name it! You'll leave with a pendant that's ready to wear and boast about.
Limit of 6 students.

INTRO TO CHAIN WEAVING (BEGINNER)
Date: Sunday, April 14, 1:00-3:00pm
Fee: $35 + materials (Choices: alum =$15; cop= $25; s/s=$110)
No experience necessary.
Make a fabulous bracelet by learning how to interlock jumprings using the Byzantine method. Bring your own tools if you have them, otherwise we have them.

TEXTURE & STAMP METAL
Date: Sunday, April 21, 1:00-3:00pm
Fee: $45, materials included
No experience necessary.
Make use of hammers and steel stamps to create unique images to combine with your beads, leather and mixed metals. You will leave with a bracelet that is uniquely you!

RIVETING AS COLD CONNECTION
Date: Sunday, April 28, 1:00-4:00pm
Fee: $45, materials included
No experience necessary.
This workshop will cover mechanical joints that can be achieved with simple tools. We will be working with simple headed rivets and tube rivets. There will be practice samples, as well as the possibilty for a finished piece of jewelry. We will work with brass, copper, nickel.
Limit of 4 students.

USING THE DREMEL TOOL
Date: Sunday, May 5, 1:00-3:00pm
Fee: $30, bring your own tool
No experience necessary.
The flexible shaft machine (Dremel style) is one of the most versatile and important tools on the jeweler's workbench. This workshop will cover the basic machine itself and discuss the use of burrs, bits, grinding, shaping, finishing and polishing aids. Good for using on metal, stone, & wood.

ETCHING ON METAL
Date: Sunday, May 26, 1:00-5:00pm
Fee: $75, materials included
No experience necessary.
See an image or pattern come to life in brass and copper through an acid etching process! The end result will yield several etched plates for use in future jewelry design projects! This workshop is appropriate for beginners, however experienced jewelry artists may find it very exciting as well.
Limit of 6 students.

AMULET WORKSHOP
Date: Sunday, June 2, 1:00-4:00pm
Fee: $35 + $10+ materials
No experience necessary.
Have a special amulet you would like to wear as jewelry? This workshop will provide various avenues to choose from such as wire-wrapping, caging, or attaching a bail to your favorite item. Bring or purchase beads, leather or chain (available at Ladybead & Rook, next door) to complete the project, as time permits.
